      (Schubert completed numerous chamber works as a teen and left fragments of many others.  
       Below is a list of his completed, mature works.  Each is highly regarded.)

                Sonata in A minor for arpeggione and piano, D. 821 (1824)  (Usually played on cello)

                Rondo in B minor for violin and piano, Rondeau brillant, D. 895  (1826, first pub. as Op. 70)

                Fantasy in C major for violin and piano, D. 934  (1827, first published as Op. posth. 159)

                3 Sonatinas for Violin and Piano, Op. 137  (1816)  

                Sonata in A major for violin and piano, Duo, D.574  (1817, first published as Op. posth. 162)

                Trio (No. 2) in E♭ major for violin, cello and piano, D. 929  (1827, first pub. as Op. 100)

     String quartet  -  the only completed string quartets after age 20:

                 String Quartet No. 13 in A minor, D 804 "Rosamunde"  (1824, first published as Op. 29)

                 String Quartet No. 14 in D minor, D 810  "Death and the Maiden"  (1824)

                 String Quartet No. 15 in G major, D 887  (1826)
